History of Anthony's Steakhouse
Anthony's first started serving some of Omaha's best steaks and became a dining tradition in October 25,1967 as Tony Fucinaro opened it's doors to the public. The word soon spread through out Omaha and the legend that is Anthony's was born.
In it's early days Anthony's seated 165 people with another 100 in the lounge. But after a fire July 21, 1969 Anthony's had expanded not only the dining area, but also expanded the lounge and added the new party/banquet rooms that seat over 400 people.
In the early days Anthony's had a "Western Decor" that the now second generation Fucinaro restaurateur, Tony fondly remembers including a wooden horse in the entry way. While the horse is in the past, Anthony's now features a comfortable setting that can accommodate from black tie to casual dress. One thing that has not changed is the commitment to serving Omaha's best food.
Anthony's history in Omaha is long and deep earning honors from the Chamber of Commerce's "Beautification Award" (1968) to being named Omaha's "Best Steak House" (1999) and everything in between. Anthony's tradition continues today, so stop by and experience the Anthony's difference and as the Fucinaro's always say, "Our mission is to provide the best dining experience in the friendliest of atmospheres."
